This year, instead of the usual Christmas present, why not donate to Cois Nore on behalf of a family member or friend? Its quick and easy and we will email you a certificate confirming your donation.

Choose ‘Gift of Care’ from the drop-down menu and add the name of the person receiving the gift and your email address.

You will receive a Donation Certificate in that person’s name for you to print and share. There will be space on the certificate for you to add a personal message and your name.

Our Vision

Since 2013, we have provided care and support for those living with cancer and their families in Kilkenny.

Our vision is to offer everyone in Kilkenny the opportunity to access world-class care and support – close to their home.

Part of doing this is moving to a new home – a dedicated space for healing and support for our community.

This move will allow us to definitively meet the needs of all families coping with a cancer diagnosis in Kilkenny,

The Lilac Lodge on the Waterford Road will transform into a modern accessible cancer support facility to provide individual and group meeting rooms, a drop-in centre and more.

At this pivotal time for Cois Nore, we appreciate any support that you can provide. Your kindness goes a long way for families affected by cancer in Kilkenny.

Tax Efficient Giving

For those who make a personal donation of more than €250 your donation is eligible for Tax Efficient Giving under the Charitable Donation Scheme.

If you are an Irish tax payer and have donated €250 or more to Cois Nore Cancer Support Centre in any year, Cois Nore can claim 45% in tax relief under the Charitable Donation Scheme. €250 is actually worth €362 to Cois Nore Cancer Support Centre at no extra cost to you.

All you need to do is sign and return a CHY4 Tax-Back Form – Annual Certificate to Cois Nore so we may claim the tax back from the Revenue Commissioners.

For those who kindly show ongoing support to Cois Nore you can complete the CHY3 Tax-Back Form – Enduring Certificate , this will allow Cois Nore to claim the tax back on your donations over €250 for a period of 5 years.
